Oil India has fixed September 4 as the record date for its ₹1 final dividend for FY2026. The company’s Q1 profit surged 253% to ₹2,870 crore as revenue rose 58%, while its five-year stock return reached 325.29%.

Oil India has announced September 4 as the record date for its final dividend for financial year 2026, giving shareholders holding the company’s shares on the record date an opportunity to receive the payout.

The Maharatna company will pay a final dividend of ₹1 per share to eligible shareholders. The dividend will be subject to final approval at the company’s Annual General Meeting scheduled for September 17. Once approved, the dividend amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible shareholders within 30 days.

After the AGM approval, Oil India’s total dividend for financial year 2026 will rise to ₹11.50 per share.

The dividend announcement comes alongside strong first-quarter financial results. Oil India’s net profit for the April-June quarter rose 253% year-on-year to ₹2,870 crore, compared with ₹813 crore in the same quarter last year.
